Kastro Tireli is situated in the former Tireli Farm, located in the village of Pınarcık in Akhisar, which boasts one of the most favorable microclimates for wine production, positioned 200 to 280 meters above sea level and approximately 100 kilometers inland from the coastline. The Tireli Farm has been owned by the Tirelizade İsmail Bahri Bey and his family since the Republican era, who were not only prominent figures in the region but also the leader of the Kuva-yi Milliye in Akhisar and the first Mayor of Akhisar.
The farm had a history intertwined with the Karaosmanoğlu family, who were one of the leading families in the area and included the well-known Turkish novelist Yakup Kadri among its members. Over time, this 5,000-acre farm was divided among the Tirelizade family members, and Kastro Tireli was fortunate enough to acquire the last remaining part and establish the vineyards.
The dream of establishing vineyards in this exciting place, with its rocky, reddish and deep yellow soil, a series of small hills, and gently sloping plains, ideal for producing quality wine, began with the new millennium.
